The statue of St. Elijah was created in the second half of the 18th century and may be a remnant of the sculptural decoration of a currently non-existent altar. It probably depicts Elijah in a rather unusual iconography. The prophet is portrayed in a Carmelite habit with a book, because he is considered the spiritual father of the Carmelite order. The jug, on the other hand, is one of Elijah's attributes and refers to an episode from his life.
