Abstract
The sculpture depicting King David, with attributes enabling his identification, was made in the second half of the 18th century (1771?). Is an example of proper craftsmanship. The proportions of the figure's body are correctly represented, the face has appropriate expression, but the hand gestures are quite formulaic.
