Abstract

The painting "Glorification of Saint John of Nepomuk" was funded by Jacek Łopacki – archpriest at the St. Mary’s Basilica, artistic advisor for the Bernardine Sisters. I was probably painted between 1742 and 1761. Szymon Czechowicz was probably its author from whom Łopacki was ordering works to St. Mary's Basilica and at the Wawel Cathedral in Cracow.
