Abstract
The painting depicting Ecstasy of St. Teresa of Ávila was created in the 18th century. Its composition refers to the masterpiece of the baroque sculpture of Giovanni Lorenzo Bernini in the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria in Rome. The sculpture was repeatedly reproduced in the form of engravings, which was then a model for many works, including the painting in Czulice. Unfortunately, archival sources do not reveal its author.
