Abstract

The crucifix was created in the first half of the 18th century. It depicts Christ in Cristo morte type – his death is indicated by closed eyes and half-open mouth. The sculpture has a slightly sigmoidal body and a tightly braided, wide perizoma with one windblown end on the right side, which is the expression of the representation.
