The sculptures represent good artistic class works from the second half of the 17th century (crucifix) and 18th century (angels). Unfortunately, archival sources do not reveal their authors. The sculptures of Christ and angels presented an iconographic theme called the Sign of the Son of Man, which refers to the words of Saint Matthew that "the Sign of the Son of Man will appear" in the sky (Mt 24:30). The crucifix was first shown in this way at the collegiate church of Saint Anne in Cracow.
