The painting constitutes the main part of the dismantled triptych which was originally located in the former church of St. Valentine in Krempachy. Currently, this work is located in the newer high altar and its wings are placed on the walls of the chancel. According to the signature mark on one of the scenes in the field, the triptych was made in 1516. The painting depicts the so-called Sacra Conversazione with the figures of St. Valentine, patron of the church, and St. Stanislaus and St. Nicholas, placed on his sides.
