The sculpture of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in the church in Jabłonka was created in the first half of the 20th century. It is an example of the most popular iconographic variant of representing this theme in art, modelled on Italian painting of baroque painter Pompeo Batoni in the Church of Il Gesù in Rome. Perhaps the sculpture was modelled on Tyrolean works, because it shows the characteristics of mass-produced statues made and imported from there in the 19th century.
