The tabernacle was made in Rococo style in the second half of the 18th century, and constitutes an integral part of the high altar. An internal, steel-clad part of the tabernacle was re-mounted in 1919. The door is adorned with themes referring to the Passion of Christ (the crucifix, arma Christi), the Divine Mercy (the burning heart) as well as Christ's sacrifice and the Eucharist (the pelican feeding its young with its own blood).
