The sculpture of St. Veronica was created in the fourth quarter of the 18th century. It is located at the top of a presenter's pew. Saint Veronica lived in the first century A.D. According to tradition, she is identified with a woman who wiped Christ's face on the Way of the Cross, thus receiving an imprint of his image on her veil.
