The statue formally relates to church products made in the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, created in workshops in Tyrol and Austria, which were ordered and imported to Poland. It depicts St. Joseph, who was Mary's betrothed and guardian and protector of Jesus, therefore, he is most often depicted with Baby Jesus in his arms. His attribute is also a lily branch symbolizing chastity.
