Abstract
The painting of Saint John the Merciful was made around 1510-1520 in unknown painting workshop. The work is the altar finial of the old reredose that only in 18th was moved to the church in Racławice Oulskie. Perhaps it comes from St. Mary's Basilica where around 1521, the altar of Assumption of the Virgin Mary and Saint John the Merciful was mentioned.
