A painting depicting St. John the Baptist, placed in altar finial of the northern altar, was created around 1777. Undoubtedly, the ultimate attribution of the work, which is attributed to both Szymon Kawalski and Imrich Jagušič, requires further research. The painting shows Saint John the Baptist – a hermit, prophet, son of Zechariah and Elisabeth. Saint preached about the need for repentance and prepared the way for the coming of the Messiah. Both a cross with the inscription "ECCE AGNUS DEI" and a lamb are his attributes.
