The painting which was one of the original elements of the side altars in the church in Inwałd presents one of Central-Eastern Europe's most popular saints. St. John of Nepomuk was displayed in a rare narrative referring to his biography and his service as the royal almoner. The stylistic features of the piece are typical for a provincial guild workshop from the fourth quarter of the 18th century.
