The paintings located in back choir-stalls in the chancel were created in the first half of the 19th century. Saint John of Nepomuk was a canon of the Collegiate Church of St. Giles in Prague, therefore, he is portrayed in attire corresponding to this position. He died thrown from the Charles Bridge in Prague into the Vltava River.
