Abstract
Picture of St. John of Nepomuk was painted in the 18th century. Unfortunately the author remains unknown. The central part of the composition presents St. John of Nepomuk who was a canon at St. Giles Collegiate Church in Prague. Thus, in the picture he is presented in attire in accordance with this dignity. The cross which he hold in his hand reminds of his special reverence for Christ Crucified.
