The sculpture was created in the second half of the 19th century or in the early 20th century in the provincial workshop, what is evidenced by aggregated drapery of robes and anatomical details. St. Peter was presented in traditional depiction with the following attributes: two keys symbolising the power of the vicar of Christ and a book referring to an Apostolic Mission in which he took part.
