The sculpture of St. Casimir was made by an unknown artist at the end of the 19th century, and then placed over the gate at the high altar. It depicts a patron of Lithuania and Vilnius – the second son of Polish King Casimir Jagiellon and Elizabeth of Austria (Elżbiety Rakuska / Rakuszanka).
