The portal leading to the monastery chapel - an inconspicuous work - was funded by the archpriest of St. Mary's Basilica - Jacek Łopacki. Its design could have been made by Francesco Placidi, because the shape refers to portals in the palaces of the Spada, Falconieri and Barberini families in Rome, from where Placidi came. Roman portals were designed by Francesco Borromini.
