The painting of Our Lady of the Rosary is a depiction related to the widespread rosary prayer. This prayer was popularised by the Dominican Alanus de Rupe and he linked its origin with St. Dominic. The composition of the painting in question refers to the painting "La Virgen del Rosario" by Bartolomé Esteban Murillo in 1670-1680. Unfortunately, the author of the work from Niegowić is unknown, which was probably created at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
