The painting "Man of Sorrows," located in the church in Barwałd Dolny, was made in the 18th century in the provincial workshop, as evidenced by the painter's inefficiency in forming the drapery of robes and in shaping the proportion of the figure. It is an example of a long continuation of this iconographic theme, whose original designs were already popular in the Middle Ages, in the 13th century.
