During the last restoration, the analysis revealed that in fact these are two paintings depicting Mary with the small Jesus overlapping each other. The older one comes from 16th or 17th century, and the other one was created after 1704. During the works, the upper part of the older canvas was uncovered. It presents two angels holding a crown above Mary's head (this part is covered with a robe). Determination of dating the robe may be narrowed to the period between 1648-1655.
