Abstract
The sculpture represents a good artistic quality from the second half of the 18th century. Unfortunately, archival sources do not reveal its author. Christ and the angel represent an iconographic theme, called the Sign of the Son of Man, which refers to the words of Saint Matthew that "[...] the Sign of the Son of Man will appear" in the sky (Mt 24:30).
