The altar in the chapel of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception was built in 1695-1703. Its author was Baltazar Fontana and his workshop. In this work, the sculptor used a solution taken from Roman art – illumination of the statue with light falling from a hole invisible to a viewer, located behind the bow-fronted entablature.
