The statues of angels in the high altar finial and statues of angels on the sides of the tabernacle created at the same time as the entire structure of the altar - in the second half of the 18th century. The statues show angels adoring and praising God. The author of these sculptures is unfortunately unknown. The angel were depicted according to iconographic tradition: they are barefoot and they are dressed in belted tunics to symbolize their readiness to mission - Messengers of God. Other statues comprising the altar sculptural set were replaced with new ones in later epochs.
