The portrait of Grzegorz of Sambor, a distinguished canon of the St. Florian's Collegiate Church, an author of the life of St. Stanislaus Kostka, might have been created in the second decade of the 17th century. This is evidenced by similarities to the portrait of another canon, Szymon Halica (deceased in 1624), hanging in the same sacristy of the St. Anne's Church in Cracow.
