The sculpture depicting Virgin Mary with St. Dominic, and St. Catherine of Siena was created at the end of the 19th century or in 1912 by Wit Stwosz. The work refers to folk - it is indicated by stiffened poses of characters, physiognomic features of Mary and Child, as well as the attire of Mary, referring to rich peasant clothing (decorative, embroidered bodice and string of beads).
