Abstract
One of the sculptures decorating the walls of the side chapel in the parish church in Kęty is the statue of St. Hyacinth of Poland. He was the first Pole to join the Order of Preachers (newly founded by St. Dominic), and after a while, he brought several confreres to his native country.
