The statue of Risen Christ in Igołomia was most probably created in the 17th century. In terms of composition and form, it is very similar to other statues of Risen Christ that were created within the territory of Lesser Poland at that time, for example in churches in Sidzin, Barwałd Dolny or Zawoja. This type of sculptures is used in a Resurrection Procession. Then, it is placed on the altar on the left, where it is located until the Ascension Day.
